The Lamborghini Murcielago LP640 is arguably the most quintessential supercar of recent years. Powered by a 6.5-liter V12 that produces 640 PS (470KW) and 660 NM of torque, the LP640 makes good use of its all-wheel drive front, center and rear limited-slip differentials.
RENM performance have created what they describe as the ‘Axiom upgrade’, which is aimed at retaining the Lamborghini Murcielago’s original design lines with subtle visual enhancements while delivering higher levels exclusive performance.
The exhaust system for the LP640 Axiom monitors and regulates back pressure for maximum performance. The system can be programmed via remote control, allowing for driving in either cruise, sports or open mode. When combined with an ECU re-calibration and sports air-filters, gains of up to 665 PS (489KW) are realised.
For more performance, RENM performance recommend the complete back-pressure controlled exhaust system, revised sports camshafts, cylinder head conditioning and ECU re-calibration. This results in gains of up to 715PS (525KW).
The Axiom tuning programme features 19 inch carbon/forged three piece wheel design that includes forged aluminum outer shells with titanium reverse fasteners and carbon-fibre cross sections. Other wheels dimensions are available ranging between 19 and 22 inch.
