CDA – Carbon Dynamic Airbox
The CDA filtering system is composed of a cylindrical air box in real carbon fibre containing a washable filtering element. The choice of the material composition is due to the fact that carbon has a low thermic conductivity that allows to isolate the heat of the engine form the filter and fresh air. Substituting the original air box with the CDA, cold air is directly channels through the isolated thermic filter inside the carbon air box and drawn from the engine through the flow deflector giving minimum loss of energy. The CDA system also includes a black flexible alloy duct (60cm in length) to allow the air to be taken in at the front fo the car where possible. The system is available in two different dimensions, size one for up to 1600cc and size two for over 1600cc.
CDA – Advance Technology
The CDA filtering system is connected to an air intake in front of the car through a flexible black alloy duct. Thanks to the dynamic air intake you get true supercharging system that conveys cold air at a speed and capacity much greater than with traditional systems. The airflow entering through the dynamic intake is still further accelerated due to the conical flow deflector inside the carbon fibre dynamic airbox. Finally, dynamic over boosting, greater airflow higher pressure and colder air are the elements assuring a considerable increase in performance both in engine and dissipated power as demonstrated by several tests.
The CDA is also available in some special versions with particular flanges specific for a direct connection to the Air Flow Sensor (MAF) or with different dimension for a better installation inside the engine space.
Power Output
We have tested CDA’s on various cars and have been astounded at the results. An increase of 5.6% on a standard 2.0 HDI engine for example. The CDA system is excellent for turbo petrol and diesel (more power and reduces smoke) and normally aspirated petrol engines alike.

The technology used in the VIPER was first seen on the Lotus 340R, but we are making it available for an ever increasing range of popular road cars.
The VIPER uses ‘velocity air force 'to direct cold air directly into the engine.
The cold air feed takes air from behind the grill straight into the VIPER 's 100mm diameter inlet, swirling it through a unique Pipercross velocity filter contained within a carbon fibre heat shield, and then into a ram pipe to increase it 's pressure before feeding it into the induction system.
The carbon fibre heat shield protects the air charge from under bonnet heat keeping it cool -and therefore more dense -thus introducing more oxygen into the combustion mixture,giving increased power.
The reverse flow technology filter and 150mm ram pipe make use of the physical phenomenon of air tending to move towards surface area's, creating more air flow on the edge rather than in the centre of the inlet. The unique design of the filter cone and the inlet 'tune' the moving air flow to increase its speed and therefore its pressure maximising the laminar air flow into the engine, again resulting in increased power.
The physics involved may sound a little complicated but the increase in power using a VIPER against a standard air box will be immediately evident. Just as obvious will be the VIPER's stunning looks - the carbon fibre heatshield connecting the polished alloy inlet to the 150mm rampipe will be the focal point of any engine bay!

é assim na minha opniao tanto um como o outro sao bons. o filtro de caixa ganhas em altas e o conico ganhas em baixas.so k s es apanhado com um filtro conico sao 250euros k tens k pagar de multa enkuanto k um de caixa nao pk eles nao vao ver isso né???por isso axo k ja tens a tua resposta né????
